I would like to say that I have just found out about the Clinton Global Initiative program, and it's magnificent to know that such a program exists for our nation and universally as well. What a fantastic opportunity for all of us as Americans to do our part by this great vehicle that exists. I saw President Clinton on the David Letterman's show the other night as well as the Early Morning show today. I am very impressed and even more encouraged to help in any way that I can to learn more about philanthropy, grantsmanship, and financial literacy altogether. Now, let's all have the opportunity to do the work. We can start by healing this great divide with first in our own country access to money and knowledge of money. It's amazing how other relationships are made better as a result of accessing money to do the things that we are passionate about and gifted to accomplish easily. Whatever I can do to further the objectives of the Clinton Global Initative, you have my desire and willingness to participate effectively in a very successful manner. I am very interested in Global Initiative and the multiple areas being addressed.I am a holistic practioner versed in chiropractic,acupunture,nutrition,kinesiology/applied as well as clinical.Currently,we have a 501c3 non profit organization,restoring one of America's historical treasures,built 100 years ago,by the templars.Iam also a holder of dual citezenship for the US and Trinidad and Tobago.Iwould love to help in the Caribbean basin and Central America in the area of development of health consciousness with special emphasis on youth.I have already met with Prime Minister Manning and President Maxwell Richards both of Trinidad,and will be doing so again over the Christmas holidays.The problem of AIDS coupled with high levels of promiscuity require immediate intervention in the areas of sex education,and public hygiene.My sister ,DR Gem Linda Dunn,is launching a new television program which will cover regions in Central America as well as Miami and theeastern seaboard of the United States. I was also impressed by the Clinton Global Initiative and being from Africa, I do agree that we can share the abundance of the western world with the 3rd world, and not even feel it.

I have a dream to send all unwanted books and working computers to African schools to promote reading at an early age in Africa. If anyone is interested in working with me on this project maybe we can start a non profit org., set up a website for collecting used books and PCs.

I have been living, traveling, volunteering all over the United States in a self contained vehicle powered (not propelled, unfortunately) by solar. Recently I watched President Clinton on the Larry King show during which he was able to describe the Clinton Global Initiative. I was very impressed by his presentation and that he has chosen to spend his time in such a valuable way. The CGI should be a great force for good in the world in the years to come. I have decided today to learn Spanish so that I might better communicate with our Mexican brothers & sisters and perhaps help them learn English. I am a foreign trained Oral Surgeon and I like to volunteer for international dental or dentistry rehabilitation as well as minor surgical procedures indeed necessary in many poor neighborhood throughout the world as well as in our country US.
Hopefully I would like to create a dental chain clinics semi-private involving massive jobs creation for professional and technitians and/or as extention of medicare to take of all our citizens at a very low cost with price affordable as the 1950's. where we would have commitments from dental manufacturers with donation from and for our american peoples well as international.

I came to this country with $32 in pocket in 1980 with my wife and 2 children. Though I had a Masters Degree in History from Calcutta University I started my career as a File Clerk with an annual salary of $7500.I never asked for any social-welfare benefits including food stamp, housing etc. Now my 2 sons are graduate of UMass and working and I have retired.

The moment I watched about this program I couldn't help but wonder what I can do to contribute even the slightest amount possible.. However I could not come up with a commitment of mine own due to lack of numerous things but I still would love to participate in the program somehow. What is being done by President Clinton is an exceptional act of charity for the whole world. His philosophy, strategy, commitment and passion to reduce and to overcome various world issues such as HIV/AIDS, malaria and TB, poverty and climate change, constitute a true source of inspiration and call for action at any level to contribute to this noble vision. Therefore, I took commitment to get involved.
I have been working since 2001 in the area of the fight against HIV/AIDS through UNDP programs which aim to coordinate and provide technical,institutional and financial support to the community based organizations and ONG involved in the fight against HIV/AIDS in my country, Burkina Faso. This experience conferred me some abilities in community organization and support so that, I am willing to offer to the Fundation my availability in this area, in addition to my abilities in Human Resources Management, Administration and Communication. I am also promoting, with other partners, AProFEn, which has a strong commitment in vulnerable Women (HIV/AIDS widows, infected or affected, elders) and at-risk children (orphans, illiterates,...), by initiating and implementing a range number of socio-economic and educational projects and programs to empower and rehabilitate this targeted population, and also to ensure a sustainable development. I would like to have connexion with anyone or any organization who will be interested in working and exchanging with us in this area.
